Food stories

We write our food stories based on family traditions and places. We grow up listening to events belonging to our family’s history, and many of them are linked to edibles. In addition, the rest is connected and related to the place we call home or where we grew up, wherever that might be. That is why we like to listen to or to read stories about food, people and far away places. One reason that might explain this phenomenon, is that geography affects the way we describe food, the manner in which we use it and how it finds its way into the narrative of our lives.

In this global world, ingredients come and go, and this commerce opens up, for example, the possibility to eat authentic food from anywhere, in the comfort of your kitchen table. Or almost. But what about seasonal crops and mass production and food waste? Are they worth it, dear reader?
