Food that matters

Share something tasty…

Food is a concept that is present in our everyday life, in the decisions we make on what we buy to prepare for dinner or what do we want to order as take away. How much or little time we spend on the subject is up to us.

What and how we eat something means different things to different people depending on their upbringing, their social conventions and their geolocation. The good thing is that we (hopefully) share a feeling of awe and respect for a dish well-prepared, no matter what journey it took to get to our tables; or if it is us that prepared it or if it was prepared for us.

On account of us sitting behind our screens most of the time, I came to appreciate the little things that make our lives richer and meaningful. One of these things is sitting with family and friends and share a tasteful bite and catch up on each other’s affairs. We’ve been doing it virtually, but I can wait to do it personally again. And for you, what is it that you can wait to start doing again?
